ok, so besides putting neon tubes under the dash for interior lighting, where else would be good spots to place neon tubes to light up the inside of the car without everyone being able to see the tubes?
i read somewhere of people putting the 2 long tubes from the underbody neons insde between the doors and the seats....would that be a bad place for them? My main thing is just lighting up the interior, seeing as little of the bulb as possible. Thanks.
I've used them underneath the seats before. Gave off just enough light to light up the floor.
How about some short ones in the pockets in the doors?
A guy I knew had a older camaro and used one of the neon license plate frames and put it around the light in the headliner.Lit up the whole car and he had all the wires hidden.

under the dash, under the seats is a good idea too.. having a sunfire, one tube under the center of the dash comes to mind. one inside the center dash vent would be a neat idea, but i think the glare on the windshield would be too much.
I have 2-12 inch tubes under my dash, and 2-8 inch tubes under my seats, and the light output from both is enough to iluminate the entire floor front & rear. Neons inside the car look best if they give out great light, but you can't see the tubes. I remember this one Civic I seen which was black w/altezza's. On the inside, he had two green neon tubes which looked to be screwed in or taped (coulndn't tell exactly) to where his b-pillars were, and the ENTIRE inside of the car was neon green. It was ridiculous. This thing went under an overpass, and the damn light shining out looked like a UFO, lol. It was bright. Cool concept, but would've looked best if the tubes were hidden somehow.
I completely second the motion to visit oznium.com. You will not be disappointed.
Under the dash, under the seats, in the trunk, in the cupholders, under the armrest are all good ideas. Let your imagination run wild
