Wiring up lights on aftermarket gauges...?

How many gauge lights can i wire into another circuit before the load will become an issue? I am having an issue trying to wire up the 6 gauges i have that are being lit with LEDs. I have one going into the dimmer switch, but that flickers on and off for some damn reason when i know it has a soild connection.

What are the other wires i can tap into besides the dimmer switch because i don't want to make my dash dull and dim either.

My suggestion would be to wire them to your headlight switch in the steering colum this way when you turn that switch its a steady 12v source. The reason your led connected to the dimmer is flickering is do to the switch. I really wouldnt worry about the load since leds take lil to no power. hope thats gives you an idea...

Well the flickering stopped when i attached the connection thing back to the gauge cluster. It has a little press in thing on it and its no longer doing that so i am going to assume thats fixed. I tapped into my hvac wires and everything seems just peachy for now.
