That auction is likely JUST a resistor... pretty basic.

GM makes a switch, like the trucks have, for the Cavalier and Sunfire that allows you to turn the passenger bag on and off with the key... I had the part number laying around somewhere, but never bought one... it's horribly overpriced.

John, could you use that switch for the driver's side instead?,, If not, what do you know about these resistors, and how hard are the to wire in. I think I can do it, I just need directions. Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

Using the search, I've dredged up an old forum that went unanswered.

I'd like to put a shut off switch on the passenger air bag in my 95 J car so I can have a small sized passenger up front without the worry of taking their head off if I should hit something or be hit.

Anyone done it?
That part number for the switch that went unanswered, anyone have it?
Anyone have a used switch out of a parts car (j body or otherwise) they'd like to sell ?

Thanks all

Dave
