Just wanted to give you a heads-up that there is a seller on eBay selling the CF stuff for the engine bay that RK used to sell and has since discontinued.
I grabbed a new battery cover for the Blue Cav (mine was cracked) but they have another one of those, the throttle body cover and the Ecotec cover up for auction.
These are getting REALLY hard to find - a lot of websites SAY they can get them but they can't. This compnay has the parts in hand.

just knock off products. I emailed the company selling.. they are dipped into this cf material to look like real cf

He could be full of crap just trying to sell them, or they may be real. Either way he has a %99.5 feedback, so he is doing something right. I'm probably going to pick up an item or two.

how does that work? i could see them being wrapped in vinyl/fake carbon or even painted, but it doesnt look like any of the above. well...i guess we'll see soon enough

RK is notorious for leaving stuff on their site that they cannot get any more. If someone wants to call them and find out about what CF stuff is available, I'll admit I am wrong if I am.
Screw it - I had some extra time on my hands and called RK.
Yes, they DO still make all of the stuff BUT there is a 2-3 week waiting time on each part.
Where I went wrong was that they did discontinue the radiator cover due to a design flaw? (mine fits fine)
Seems to me I tried to order the battery cover last year and they said they could not get it but I could be wrong...
Anyway, not sure why the eBay guy does not say they are from RK but I'd bet anything that they are. By mentioning RKSport, he could lose a potential customer so maybe thats why.
Anyway, did not mean to spread bad info, but at least if you buy from this guy on eBay you wont have to wait as long. I ended up paying about the same as RK sells it for.
My battery cover will arrive tomorrow from FedEx and we'll have a final verdict then as far as quality goes.

I think the engine cover has been the only thing discontinued.
It's knocked off RKS pieces. Again, I'll say buyer beware.
I got the battery cover today - looks fine to me. Same quality as RKSport version.
Everything they sell looks exactly like the RKSPort stuff in the pics I've seen. I somehow doubt that they made brand new molds that are just like RKs and sell the exact same line of parts. This is obviously the same stuff sold by a different company.
Anyway, no complaints here - time to remove my old chipped one and get this shiny new part in the car!

By the way, I used to have that Ecotec cover in my car and its a total piece of crap in my opinion. Makes the car look like a toy and guts the soul of the engine bay, the Ecotec itself.
I will say that it did fit good though - no problems with the mold, etc.
my rkcrappy rad cover has a alot of cracks in places it should be cracked
and fit was ok , it was the holes for the pins to hold it down that didnt line up wort a dam
and the coolant cover was cracked also , my brake res and fuse cover are ok
other than the normal crappy amount of air bubbles in them

Well it seems like I was wrong after all...
Went to install this part and it does NOT match the other RKSport stuff in my bay.
The CF is nowhere near the same quality, finer grain, different colors.
Can't believe I didnt notice it when I opened the package...
Sorry for any confusion - I had the best of intentions by starting this thread.
Keep in mind that the quality is OK, just does not match mine. If someone were to buy a whole set of these parts the engine bay would not look bad at all.
Anyone wanna buy it? lol

Sucks for you, but you will be helping others in the long run. Ebay is not the place to buy parts for a car. Too many knock offs and cheap @!#$.
well i bought the radiator cover and ill have it within a week i wish that i would have read this post! ill post pics and comments when i get it!!
