sure go for it. whats the worse that will happen? ull have to have some of it hanging out with ur trunk lid tied down some.. should atleast be able to get it in enough to stay in.

since its a sedan u could also cover the back seat and prolly put it in that way.. i dont know what kind of clearance ur door will give for the engine hoist and the engine to go in tho.. but just another idea.

laying on itside, maybe, but not standing up. Had one minus girdle and head in the turnk and it was close, maybe without the spare tire cover in there your could nestle it down into the well a little bit but you are laying iton its side, or strapping the trunk lid closed on it.

There was a guy on here that wanted to put it in the trunk. Try searching and seeing if he ever got it to him. Think it was EARLY this year.

finding a friend with a little truck or something would be safer... besides what if some of the fluid is left in and pours all over your trunk....

lay a tarp in the trunk, pull the decklid off, use a hoist to put the engine in the trunk, put the decklid back on. carried a 350 block in a buddies lumina. we could have gotten the block in the trunk without taking off the decklid, but his engine hoist was a piece of crap and it was easier to just take the deck lid off.

i'd play is safe and find a friend with a truck. it'd be easier.

GO PATS!!!
