I pulled my steering wheel today and forgot to roll up my windows. So I put the key in the ignition and turned it so I could roll them up. When I did this it unlocked the wheel and the red and black wires that hook up to the airbag came out.
The end of it has a little copper tab that doesn't seem to attatch to anything it just looks like it sit in the hole. It had a little bit off lube on it. Anyways. Did I just break this wire or does it actually just sit in the hole?
could that be the wire for your horn? It is spring loaded and so would pop out.
you know what it might be its got two leads on it and a groud wire
push your damn horn and find out
like I said the steering wheel is pulled and the airbag is off so the horn is not hooked up.. I'll find out later. Thanx for the smart ass remark though.
if it has a white plastic tube with a spring on the end of it with a copper tab on the end of the spring yes thats just for ur horn and yeh it was pretty much sitting it in the hole.. ur airbah wires are connected through the yellow connector.. the 2 wires ur talking about are the power and ground for the horn..
