When ben from tobaco racing was on here, he was making cf dashtops from the stockers, just dug off the stock crap on top of the shell and covered it in cf. i have pics of from start to finish from his, hes no longer here on the org and was wondering if neone would still be able to do this for me? he was going to charge 120 plus shipping with me sending the stock in.

Yeah, $120 is a real good deal. I wanna see the pictures, see exactly what is expected and all. I take a customization class and this would be an awesome project for project week.....The only thing is CF is on shortage, I have to see what is available.

Also, you guys want black CF, or different colors if available?

Did you want that plastic Airbag peice covered in CF too? Also, what year cavi/sunfires are these? Basically, I would need the dash piece, cover it in CF, and send it back. Also, just some info, I am located in NJ. I will see what I can do about prices tonight at school, see how much all the material is, unless someone has a site that isn't sold out of CF and of great quality.

sam, yes if i could please the airbag covered too. i have a 00 cavalier. NJ sounds great, should be able to get it from me in CT in a day or two once shipped.would you be taking off all that dashpadding junk and laying it down? ben said after the resin is placed over it comes out to being as thick as before which is perfect.
see what you can find out for prices and when youd like to do this and youll have my dash cover :-) what are we looking at for a turn around time?

I just got back from school and CF prices have gone through the roof! For matterals and installation and everything it would be in the area of $350 + shipping for the top dash part. Other parts can be wrapped as well on a per-part basis. In case you didn't know, there is a huge CF shortage. However, if we can get a few people together, we could recieve a price break which would be passed on to anyone interested. Also, the turn-around time would be, at most a week, but prob 3-4 days. I will talk to the guys on the org to see if we can get a GP going.

Soooooo if anyone has any other idea where to get CF cheaper, please let me know.

I'm pretty sure I would be down for this anytime. Sorry, but just to ask, this IS only the top vinyl dash part right? And I would want the airbag shaved.
Let me know.

Tampa, yes, this is the top dash only. I could do an airbag-delete if you wanted it. Still waiting on the dashes...

Guy here on the Org did the fiberglassing and then I painted it....his member name is GoldMember and he had a web page too...but I can't seem to pull it up now?

Hmmm....maybe he doesn't do anythign like this now? Anyway, his web site was www.watchershookup.com His name is Blake Watcher and his old emial was goldz24@hotmail.com. Good guy and decent prices! Maybe see if you can get in touch and see what he'll do for you.
