I used Dupli-color Vinyl and Fabric dye. I got it at Autozone for like 5.99 a can, and it works really good.

Clean it really really really good first. I stress REALLY because theres bound to be a lot of oils up there from touching it and from cleaners/protectors. Then take a couple cans of...
and go to town.
I forget all the colors they have, but they have more than just black.

Anyone have pictures of the results after using this? How many can's to look into buying? And, what did everyone use to clean it with, like an alchohol? Thanks!

if your going to dye it spend a few more bucks and buy SEM dye, its much better... wont crack or fade at all...
I've used the SEM and the Dupli-Color on older dashes. I have to vouch for the SEM. It produced immaculate results and seemed to be absolutely permanent.

Most of the people on this site are here to read about modifying their car or showing their results from modifying their car. I'm pretty sure if most of us have made it this far, we understand the consequences of what we're doing.
Woooo bubbies.
When I painted the dash in my '94 (still had vinyl) I used rubbing alchahol to clean the dash really well. The i just sprayed the dye on (i used the Dupli-color stuff) and I still have some left over from one can. Hope this helps a bit
