I want to fiberglass my dash and dont worry, I found a guide on how to do it, so dont think I'm asking about that. What I need to know is, if I fiberglass it, how will I retain it's shape so it will fit properly, since the dash piece is so flimsy? Also, is it possible to remove the passnenger airbag piece and fiberglass the dash without it, so the airbag will still work? Again, on the topic of airbags, I ruined my passenger bag by taking out the stock wheel and trying to put an aftermarket wheel in, does this affect my passenger bag in anyway?
Thanks

you can glass the pass. air bag
but if it goes off..i really hope your invulnerable to glass
i hear that glassing dash make hell of alot of glare. be carefull if you live were u get the sun
Yeah, I know that you can glass over it, but I mean, is it possible to remove the plastic airbag cover while I'm glassing and glass around the edge of the place where it sets......then, when the glassing is finished, put the plastic cover back on (maybe paint it or something) and have the airbag still work? Seems like it would, since I wouldn't be glassing over the passenger airbag cover. Still need to know about how to make it keep it's shape too, any info would be appreciate muchly. Thanks brothers.

oh...
then in that case yes
take off the dash
and if you look underneath it ...its boldted down to the silver metal thing stickin out if it on both sides...
if you took out your airbag in the steering wheel you have no airbags now. the passenger one wont go off. so i'd just leave that piece in and just glass right over it. take the dash out lay down plastic on your dash structure in the car and then once you put your fiberglass on the upper dash piece and befire it has cured fully, put it back in the car on top of the dash, this way it will be in the proper position and wont warp on you.

Cool, thanks for the info.
So, there's no way my passenger airbag will deploy now?
Also, I'm a big advocator of using aftermarket wheels, especially since my bags didn't deploy when I totaled the savy-cavy, but really......for those of you who have them, how bad of an idea is it?
