Ok im wanting to paint the piece that is directly under the steering wheel does any body know how to get it off. Ive heard that you cant. am just wondering?

thats not very specific, i have NO idea what ure talkin about... you mean the lower half of the column, or the peice of the lower half of the dash...

I believe you are talking about the lower dash which can be removed but you whole interior needs to come out meaning unhooking everything electronic and all that. I actually masked the whole inside of my car off and painted it inside the car. Took about a day to do....8 hours i mean...literally. That was with an HVLP gun with base and clear coat.

yeah, i was gonna paint that part, but i decided f#$& no, and im just goin for the dash bezel, glove box door, airbag cover (which is gonna be a bitch too), the defrost vent....
oh, and the mirror back things...

Yeah the lower half. Im whiteing the dash and doors out with red accents. thanks guys.
