i was wondering if i can change the bulbs in the cluster to blue ones. can somebody tell me what is involved and how many do i need and what kind? thanks.

To add a bit to your post, J2E...

If the o/p is planning on using the stock overlay, the answer is yes, but expect to have purple #'s. The o/p should check page 3 and 4 for the answer

so even though the numbers look white, a blue led will turn purple because of the red film. that sucks...

are cav clusters interchangable with sunfires? or would i be better going with a white faced overlay? im kinda scared of that route because of the needles and it not staying in place.

The #'s will be purple, but the LED will still be blue

Whatever it is, it's not a film... I haven't quite figured what it is.

The clusters are interchangable, unless you are really decent with custom stuff, not only witl you need the cluster, but the dash as well. Interior door panels will complete the swap.

so is it all the numbers will be purple or just the orange colored ones? if its just the orange colored markings that turn purple then maybe i could make it so they will not light up. just a thought

Any of them that are red normally will have a purplish hue

ok. but the white numbers show up fine? if so i might do it and try to get rid of the mph. yeah im canadian
