After a long design process, it's finally done! This attaches to your sunroof slider using 3M Spray Adhesive. All you have to do is remove the rubber trim piece and stick it on.
This is just a prototype, seems like the slider is harder to move now, but I'm going to be dying my headliner this weekend and will look into it. Should not be a problem and it DOES open and shut without scratching it.
I will also be creating a graphite trim ring to cover any gaps between the sunroof panel handle and theCF sheeting so no tan shows through.
Here is a close-up of my CF sunroof switch bezel:
For more info on getting these, please refer to my current CF Group Purchase.
Thanks!

That's cool. Me likey. I wish I had a sunroof to go with that.
Looks good I love the idea, its a lil wavy tho which is not your fault, what if you used a stiffer sheet of cf instead of the more flexible kind, just a thought.
^^ agreed, only thing that turns me off on the sunroof cover, it would drive me nuts
I think the waviness is in the clearcoat and not the material itself being "floppy". It's pretty stiff stuff and glued on there good.
It's opening and shutting fine now - I just had to do it a few times to get used to it or something.
