Can't get back seats out....

Triied what it said to do on Team Forward Motion wasn't working. Can anybody help me out?






2004 Ecotec Cavalier 9.9 in the 1/8th mile. 15.7 in the 1/4 mile.

Aren't the TFM instructions for the original 3rd gen seats with the single back? I've never taken out the 60/40 split seat you've got. I'm sure it's different somehow though.

normaly you tilt forward and push to the passanger side and it comes out.

tilt it forward to like 45 degree, on the outside (by the side panels) you'll see where the seat clips in, get a flathead and pry out the metal "tab" a bit, thats holding it in place and pull up on the corner. then once that end is free pull it off the other end (should be easy to do, just pull towards the outside of the car from that side) repeat on the other side. for the bottom cushion just pull up around the center of the two "seats" if that makes sense, just feel around and you will find where i'm talking about. be careful not to break the plastic retaining clips, i broke both mine but havent had any problems.

yeah, on the bottom I've pulled as hard as I could and they still won't come up.
