Today I was trying to remove my dash (pretty much the whole thing) in my 96 Caviler...anyway, I couldn't get it off. The only thing that was stopping me was the Air Bag. So how do I get my dash off? I couldn't find any screws for it or anything.

the passenger side

well i am not sure if the dashes are the same with the 96 and 05 but mine has i think 2 screws in the glove box that hold the bracket for the air bag. if its the same look in the box at the left with the opening there will be like two screws way in there remove them and it should come right out!! there are also like 2 other screws at the top of the box itself! mine was one screw on either side 2 in the front vent 2 at the top of the box and 2 farther in the box and the top dash came out! hope its the same good luck!!

yeah I saw that but it didnt look like I need to screw them out. So thank you. I will hopefulyl taking this apart tomorrow and working on it/cleaning on it.

They might have a few differneces but I am sure its pretty much the same.

of it's the airbag, there are two 7 mm bolts on top, and two below, the ones inside the glove box, were for the dash top piece, the two on the edge of the glove box opening, are for the dash.....
the airbag on the steering wheel, there are two torx bolts, but i think a 12 or 13 mm worked also.
