ok, so I just galss my dash and everything looked kosher when I was sanding it, but when the paint when on, later that night, and dash was put back in, I noticed in the daylight some imperfections( pits, uneven sufaces). Is there some way of fixing this with the dash back in the car? The thing was a b*$^#* to take out and put in , i don't want to go through all of that again.
no because the proper way to do it is make sure its perfect before u put it back in the car.
because to do it right u will need to bondo or something like it to smooth out everything resand and repaint.

Werd ^^^, Quality takes time and do it right it's always a bit(h.
just remember you only get out of it what you put in it.
yeah, sanding is 3/4 part of a nice product. i would take it back out use bondo and be shure to do it during the day so you can notice imperfections. Remember that when you paint something you can see imperfections alot more.

take it back out, sand the paint off, add a thin layer of bondo on the divits and holes, use some spot and glazing putty to fill in the tiny pin holes and give it a few coats of primer (sanding between coats) for a nice smooth finish
