i just ordered a guage pod for my a pillar. whats the difference from 95-02 and 03-05?

the 03-05 is thinner than the older models
they have a completely different shape to them.
your car has a more sharply angled a pillar.
so basically 95-02 wont fit unless you heat it up and bend it to fit
Yeah my mom's got a 2nd gen and i noticed that the pillars were different too, I'm still trying to find a 3 guage pillar for my 05 j, if any one knows where I can get one please let me know.
I got mine from Aplus for cheap as hell and they look good.

ya thats the new plan im going to ditch the 95-02 and pick up the one from a plus. doesanybody wanna buy the 95-02 its been on the car a day.
Hey i looked on aplus and they didnt have any for the 03-05.
i thought the interior was the same....... ooops....... (but i did say Shouldn't)
so if they are diff, can i put 05 pillars in my 02?

Nope. As mentioned, they changed them in 03. Probably had something to do with the introduction of side impact airbags, but that's just a guess.
No, you can't use teh 05 pillars in your 02.

because they are a different shape the a-pillars were changed in 03 and are much different (in shape) then the 95-02 pillars
