just recently when i depress the trunk release on my keyless remote, it wont open. i just hear a click coming from the keyless module. anyone know a trouble-shoot for this? thanks in advance

You probably either need to replace the battery in it or have it reprogrammed by a dealer.

Notice I didn't say anything about replacing it, I said it may need to be reprogrammed by a dealer.

Big difference there...

if he hears it click then the remote isnt bad....maybve teh solenoid is bad

well the keyless module and the solinoid are both in the trunk

open the trunk and use a test light , and see if the large black wire going into the solinoid gets power when you hit the button on the remote , if it is getting power at that wire the solinoid is bad or weak , and needs to be replaced


the remote is obviously fuctioning if you can hear something click


if the solinoid isnt getting power either the keyless module is bad , or the power that feeds the module has a blown fuse or some other issue
