so i bought the spal power window kit but im so @!#$en lost on how to hook it up to the stock power window swithces. could any1 please help i have some pics of the window switches and the cables along with how the spal kit cables look. also i have the specs of the power window switch.
For the power window kit there is only a positive and negative wire.
Well the wire colors are hard to see so here they go from the very top:
-Dark Blue
-Gray
-Baby Blue
-Black
-Tan
-Brown
-Brown
So what wire goes to what?

ok i 'll try to help you,
because for my kit, i use an aftermarket switch, but
for the stock one, it seem you
get :
2 black for the ground (black)
2 brown for express down (alone)
Driver Side :
1 dark blue for the window to go up (red)
1 brown for the window to go down (black)
Pass Side :
1 light blue for the window to go up (red)
1 tan for the window to go down (black)
For sure, you will take your 2 wire coming from the driver window (red & black)
and connect the red with your dark blue and connect the black with brown.
For the passanger side, connect the red with the blue and the black with the tan
now, there is some complication....
the black wire seem to be the ground so connect it with your black wire that goes to a ground point... not the black one of the power window motor. For the brown that leave, i SUGGEST, that it could be the power one, meabe could try with the red wire from the kit that leave....
for the last chapter, i not that sure, but you could do a try... also don't forget to fuse your big power wire with a 25 amp.
Good luck, if any question, Ask !

Another, suggestion,
meabe the grey wire isn't on the shematic of the
switch, meabe i think there it is ok
For the Wire....
Grey --> Power ? --> big red... not the motor one but power !
Black --> Ground --> Big black... not the motor one but ground!
And Leave alone the brown for express window, because you don't have it on the kit
meabe that help better ?
So do a try, But FUSE IT BEFORE !!
Good Luck !

im lost
. so i think this is what you are sayn
Grey -> Power source (not the motor...red)
Black -> Ground (not the motor...black)
Pass Side :
1 light blue for the window to go up (red)
1 tan for the window to go down (black)
Driver Side :
1 dark blue for the window to go up (red)
1 brown for the window to go down (black)
Fuse the power wire with a 25 amp.
im lost in the drivers side since u told me not to use the brown wires....

Let's try again !
your got all that wire
-Dark Blue
-Gray
-Baby Blue
-Black
-Tan
-Brown
-Brown
--------------------------------
first, there is something confusing in your shematic,
its display, a black for ground,
dark blue for power up the driver window
brown for power down the driver window
light blue for power up the passanger window
tan for power down the passanger window
but why did you get 2 brown wire on that switch ?
all you need is look what is the brown et grey wire's !!!
Sorry !
Good Luck

alright man i @!#$ it up. this is what happen hope u can help me. so this is what i did. i connected

This walkthrough is going to be your best friend. On the schematic you'll notice the letters, A-B-E-F-G-H, right outside the box for the power window switch. These letters correspond to the placement of the wires in the wiring harness. Take a look on the top of the two blue pieces where the wires stick out, you will see the letters. I've looked at the picture of your harness, and the schematic, and they match perfectly. Follow this guide and I guarantee success
*note*the windows work on reverse polarity. I'm assuming power going into the red wire makes them go down, and power going into the black wire makes them go up. If you wire it up, and they're opposite, reverse the black/red wires on the motors...
A-(1st brown wire)-red wire on drivers motor to send the window down
B-(tan wire)-red wire on passengers motor to send the window down
C-(blank spot)-there is no wire here
D-(gray wire)-connect this to your interior light system.
E-(dark blue)-black wire on drivers motor to send the window up
F-(light blue)-black wire on passengers motor to send the window up
G-(black wire)-chassis ground
H-(2nd brown wire)-12V power source (you can use either a 25A fuse or circuit breaker, I would suggest using a circuit breaker, so that if the fuse blows say with the windows down in the rain, you wont have to replace the fuse)
enjoy my friend...
thanks guys im going to try again this weekend hope it turns out good. ill keep you guys posted

glad to hear. I went through the same thing you're doing about two years ago. I was using a haynes/chiltons manual for the colors of the wire, and I used a voltmeter to show resistance on the switch. Now that was some crazy trial and error...
