Anyone know if the Sunfire and Cavalier 00+ use the same rear bench seat??

More specifically, i'm looking at putting a rear bench from an 01 cavalier into my sunfire because its covered in leather.

lol I didn't say it was factory...it has katzkin leather on it.

No I didn't do it. Those covers are pretty easy to install, just takes a bit of time.

And yes they covered all the seats. A katzkin kit comes with 2 front seats, rear bench and door panels.

I dont know if this matter's but my rear seat release for the seat to fold down is in the front cab of the car where as your's is in the trunk.

Yeah, that's going to be your issue. For the same year, the Cav and Sunfire seats are different but interchangeable. In 03 though, they switched to the 60/40 split folding seats so you're going to have different latch locations and stuff.

I'm sure we can get that thing in there... but it may be a bit of a challenge to make it work properly.

If you drop by sometime, we can take a look and see exactly what's different and whether it can be easily changed.

Damn I didn't even realize the 60/40 split seats started in 03....
