Alright well like the topic says i have a black vinyl headliner... and my problem is the dang thing wont stay up its saging on all sides... i need ideas on how to keep it up... its not really bad but enuoght to get on my nerves after a while... is the vynil just to heavy or what... ? and ideas welcome...
what kind of glue didi you use ,cause for something that heavy you should use some kind of contact glue that comes in a gallon or quart that you able to use in a sray gun or you can even brush it on
i had a similar issue turns out i didnt use the right glue i.e. the heat made the glue tacky again so it started to pull back or sag.. I used and upholstery grade contact cement stuff most fabic stores carry it cant recall the brand off hand.. side note its been 13 mts since ive done it still up there and i live intexas where the temp hits 100+ daily during the summer
Mike Jones..... Who? <a style='text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 3px double;' href="http://www.serverlogic3.com/lm/rtl3.asp?si=24&k=hand%20puppet" onmouseover="window.status='hand puppet'; return true;" onmouseout="window.status=''; return true;">hand puppet</a>.. play with it enough it will make you go crazy.
i guess i worded it rong... the vynil is not droping off the healiner the headliner is not up against the ceeling of the car and i cant figure how to fix it...
Do you have the appropriate plugs in it?
not sure do yuoh ave pictures of what i need to have done on it...
the plastic ribbits...that you had to take out to take the headliner off....did you put those back? also it might be a lil too heavy...so try reinforcing it with some 3M tape or sumthin
