what paint to use for climate control knobs

First off I searched and I couldn't find anything. I took the rubber off of my climate control knobs and I would like to paint them blue so they contrast with my white HVAC overlay. Is there any special kind of paint that I should use to paint these with or not? Also should I spray the back or front?

Stained glass paint from a craft store will work.

Spray the backs. That way the paint does not rub off after extended use.

I actually opted for the one that uses a brush. As long as you do VERY thin coats until you're happy with the result, it'll never come off. Try rushing things with one thick coat and you'll be soooorrrrrryyyyyy

Stained glass paint is designed to dry mostly-transparent as long as it is in thin coats.

So, in effect, yes. They'll glow blue.
