Firewall Hole
Sunday, August 28, 2005 5:21 PM
Hello all. I have a '99 Fire and I was curious about the firewall hole going into the cabin. Somewhere along the line all the black crap that was covering it has gone bye bye. So now I'm getting more engine bay noise, more fumes at a stop, and more loss of heat and air. I have the option, of course, of just duct taping it shut, but I was curious if anyone out there has a better idea or has done something more creative to block it off. Thanks for any help everyone.

Either go to the dealer or a junk yard, and find the original grommet that was there.

Ha ha ha ha. I think I like that one the best so far. Thanks for the ideas everyone. I'll probably just seal it back up like it was. Keep em coming if anyone has any more ideas.
