I hope this helps some of you out...

Tools:
- dremel with a small, cone shaped bit
- rubbing alcohol
- paper towels
- glass cleaner
- double sided tape (should have been included with the bezel)

Instructions:
01.) Disconnect the battery. Better safe than sorry .
02.) Remove the top part of your dash. It is held on by bolts which are located under the long piece that runs along the windshield, under the windshield defroster vent, behind the radio/HVAC bezel and along the top edge of the glovebox.
03.) Remove the two bolts that hold the gauge cluster in place. Slowly pull the gauge cluster up to disengage the two large white pieces that are still holding the cluster in place.
04.) Carefully pop the clear plastic cover off of the gauge cluster. You do not need to remove the entire gauge cluster so don’t worry about unplugging the harnesses from the back of the cluster.
05.) Use the dremel to carefully cut away at the lines that separate the gauges and the warning lights on either side.
06.) Next, use the dremel to carefully cut away at the two holes for the turn signals.
07.) Finally, use the dremel to carefully cut away at the hole for the odometer button.
*Don’t worry if the back of your clear plastic cover looks like crap, it won’t be seen once the new bezel is in place.*
08.) Carefully slide your new bezel in place and press it against the back of the clear plastic cover (where the factory bezel was) to test fit it. This is what it will look like once it has been re-installed in your car.
09.) Remove the bezel.
10.) Make sure to clean the inside of the clear plastic cover and the black edges to get rid of any dust and pieces of plastic.
11.) There should have been a long piece of double sided tape that was included with your bezel. Take it out and cut it in half long ways. Then cut it in half again.
12.) Clean the back of the bezel with the rubbing alcohol to ensure a clean surface.
13.) Put the pieces of double sided tape on the backside of the bezel. I put one in the middle of the top and one in the middle of the bottom.
14.) Re-install the bezel into the clear plastic cover and press it all the way against the back. The tape should hold it in place. To test it’s hold turn the clear plastic cover upside down and shake it a little bit to make sure it stays in place.
15.) You’re all done. Simply re-install the clear plastic cover to the cluster and then re-install the top of the dash. Don’t forget to reconnect your battery.

*For reference, the bezel shown in the pictures is the brushed aluminum one.*

Congratulations. You now have yourself a brand new gauge bezel for your ‘00+ Sunfire!

Nice instructions on installing. It will help me out when I ever decide to actually buy mine. Can you belive I posted the thread about the bezels about a month ago and still haven't got one. Somebody really needs to start kickin' me to get stuff done. Oh well, atleast it will look good with my newly installed diamond plate mats. Thanks again to my favorite member.

Yeah, it will definitely look great with your diamond plate floor mats. I was trying to find you at the Bash, but I never saw you. I did check out your car though. I've got mine in, but not really finished yet. Mine's sandwiched between the stock black bezel and the gauge face.

How does it look? I was going to do that because it would have been a lot easier, but then I wanted the whole thing to show, not just a few spots here and there, so I decided to go buy a dremel and go to town . That's just me though . You should post some pictures of yours so we can see what it looks like behind the factory bezel .

well thats a diffrent way of doing it. i had just planned on using the dremel to pop off the clear cover, slapping the gauge bezel on top of the plastic, then gluing the bezel back on.
