I am going to be doing some work on my headliner, that tan pos has got to go. I may just vinyl/cloth dye it to start and then end up glassing it when I get some downtime, but what would everyone suggest about doing with the rubber that goes around the edge of the sunroof. Think masking off and spraying it is a good idea or not? I dont know what would stick to it being rubber, im sure if i dont bump it, it would be ok, but outside of that I dont know what to do.

Someone on here said they used the same spray dye that they used for their headliner and it worked out great.

I used the same spray for the rubber as I did with the headliner. It was vinyl/cloth spray. It looks awesome and alot nicer than the tan that it was....I will try to get some pics up soon.Jay

do they make charcoal grey spray that would match our cavaliers or just black?
Moms & Dads talk to your kids, before its too late, tell them to say no to aluminum wings.
That rubber molding from JCW might work, but the original actually has two cut outs, one fits the headliner and the other fits to the actual roof..Here are the pics of mine...

Where can I find the vinyl/cloth spray?
I just bought a new one in black from a dealer.
Got mine at autozone, but advance auto, and wal-mart sell it too. Jay

Sorry man. I picked it up years ago. Any dealer should be able to look up the number for you though. Just ask for the black lace from the sunroof of a 97 Sunfire coupe.
