Okay unfortanetly I will need to get an aftermarket tach. (not for rice shows, but because iam getting a lightened fly wheel and the stock tach will not keep up with the revs, that can be a bad thing while i spray) Basically what i want to see where some of you have mounted your tach 5" im assuming. thanks in advance
Who said the stock tach can't keep up with the revs? I would like more info in this.
let me see if i have a pic, i know I do, but it's at home i'll post it this evening. They also make smaller tachs too if you dont want a 5"er.. they're 3" i think.

Believe me I'm going to look for a smaller one, My last resort is a 5" tach, but it will need to match my other gauges or it will look worse. that means I have to go with autometer prolites
fiberglass it into the dash or somethin then lol...so it isnt stickin up on top of the dash lookin retarded......or better yet...it would be really cool if you could fiberglass it into the steering wheel where the air bag is...ooooooooo aaaaaaaaaa
I don't know where I could mold it, no room in the front dash cause i got a tv there 3 gauges above the glove box, and i dont want to fiberglass the top dash cause of the crazy glare, so im going to be stuck putting it somewhere by the driverside a pillar dash area.
Oh and no to the airbag, that save my life with the last cavi

5" tachs rock..........some people are bias against them, but oh well to each their own. i love mine nevertheless

i want to put a tach in my cav but i got the 4T40E and people would be all like, wtf do you need a tach for, but i want one just to watch my rpms better cause thats how i blew my first engine
I looked around this weekend and didn't find anything smaller then 5" that would match my current gauges. I still have a few more places to go
