Ok, I just got my gauge overlay installed and it looks great, also managed to use the glass paint to get the needles a blue color, but here is my question, the lights behind the overlay where the needles are shine through, not very noticable on the speedomoter or the tach, but very obvious on the fuel and temp gauges area, what did you all do to stop that light from getting out, I was thinking maybe like a piece of black paper or something might work, or would that just stop all the light and stop the needles from lighting up period? Now that I think about it, have another question as well, the needles came out pretty good, they look very blue in the daytime, but at night they still keep moreso the yellowish orange coloring, do I need to apply another coat of the stained glass paint to fix that or is there another way?

Also has anyone sucessfully removed the clear plastic cover from the black part of the cluster cover, I want to paint the black bezel area but after trial and error on a spare cluster I had, I cannot seem to get the clear plastic seperated from the black without cracking the clear plastic, would a heat gun, blow drier, or over to heat it possibly soften the glue or melted plastic to seperate these two pieces?
