Is the hood release on the left or the right side of the car, since in Japan the steering wheel is on the right side isn't it?
Thanks.

Owned
Search Google for Toyota Cavalier or hell search JBO.
Where can I order the Toyota door sill trim which would house the hood release on the right side? This would fit the American Cavalier right?
Thanks.

i dont see why it wouldnt work
contact street-line.net or ebay is probly your 2 best bets
yeah talk to steve at streetline if you want that piece
the drivers side door sill stayed the same , but they used the spot for the emergency road flair
just a question why do you want that piece ??
Well excuse me for not knowing exactly what cars are sold in Japan jagoff...
I figured there was only Chevy Cavalier's... Wo would've know...
A hood release on each side of the car is about to become my door handles. I have my new door panels 1/2 finished and they are very sleek and clean, the stock handles are being shaved.

These are only 1 1/4" tall total from the bare door. Building a flat door panel is quite a challenge in our cars, no part of the doors shell is flat. The door handle hole will be filled in once all fitting is finished. The flat panel will be upholstered in graphite, and the swoosh will be painted light grey to match the interior. The woofers grill is tweed matching the seats.
Should look good with the doors up.
