I was thinking of putting my under car lights in my car running the longer ones along side the passenger and driver side, then using one of the shorter ones in the back seat and the other fabricated into the bottom of the dash. the lights are red and my car is bright red.
just want to hear you opins. thanks

the long underbody neons are pretty long, and if you run them along the inside of the car, chances are you're gonna break them. just get a bunch of smaller ones, it'll be easier.
you think so?
i'll give it a try they are a low grade any ways.....they aren't that bright and would probably look tacky under the car.
i guess i'm hard headed

Hes is right I did do this and still have them in my car but I never had broken on but my passangers have. as long as you tell them that there in the car they will be fine.

I had this done for about a year or so. It was Bright as the SUN! However the rods were alittle longer so it was almost impossible to mount them without still being visable. (which did look kinda tacky)
But the down side of being bright as hell was the fact their right below your door....So even if you are careful of them....I still seemed to trip on them every once in awhile
Needless to say both did eventually crack from the high traffic. :-( ANd i went to just shorter neon rods...and had them hidden!
I would would suggest the shorts rods for 3 reasons....
you can hide them, They are out of the way, and you can position them better to make them even more liuminating then the long 24in rods.
ALex
i'll take your word for it then i'll just put them under the car then....besides i think i'll put blue inside with red, it'll be a bit softer on the eyes.

right. i never snap the driver side on mine but i can still take photos of my neone inside if you want.

tabasco - thats what i am planing on eventually doing except i am going to recess mine into the head liner.
neons should be hidden from view so just the glow shows, its going to look pretty junky in there with these big 4' neon tubes running on the floor. use small neons, you can get mini 3" neons for the dome light, u can get 12" or 15" neons for under the dash, you can get 9" neons or liscence plate frames for under the seats, and u can stick 9" in your map pockets, maybe smaller ones if u own a cav. this will light up your car plenty, and you wont be able to see a single neon tube.
