Does anybody know where I can get a cap for my 5sp shift knob and a boot

not sure what you mean by cap?

The cap on top if the knob that displays the 1 2 3 4 5 R

Yeah the part that has the gear shift gate and numbers doesn't come apart on cavi's like it does on cobalts (if you have the getrag). You'll need the whole knob, and if thats the case it's easier to sway in an entire assembly. Some times you can get the knob off the shifter, some times you can't.
The boot is the cheapest from gmpartsdirect.com. Factory boot with the trim ring/hold down ring included.
