Did alot of research, looks like the sunfire is a direct swap year for year, but was wondering if anyone has ever swapped a grand am steering wheel? I have found some really nice leather ones with audio controls from the GT models.

I'm running a leather wrapped Grand Am steering wheel in my 97' Sunfire. The splines on the Grand Am steering wheel have an extra notch in them that my Sunfire didn't have, but it still goes on without any issues. My previous Grand Am steering wheel didn't come off in one piece, though that was probably installation error. I also deleted the steering wheel controls, though it is possible to make them work (above link), N-Bodies use different connectors for the air bag then J-bodies, but that can easily be swapped, and the Grand Am steering wheel is 1" larger than the Sunfire steering wheel.
