Lately my car has been making a buzzing noise. It comes from the top of the dash in the middle like where the defroster air comes out from. This rattle or buzz only happens upon initial acceration, regardless of whether it is hard acceration or a gradual pick up in speed. And it only rattles until the automatic transmission shifts into second gear, it seems. It doesn't happen on the highway, just initial pickup.

its because your console is cracked you are better off plasticoating the hell out of it or using a hard glue to try to keep it intact, or the BEST and proper way is to change the whole dash. thats my big gripe with the j body that it rattles inside like hell


Modding my j since I found the org

i get a buzz from the end of the middle vents behind the bezel. if you remove the removable vents and hold the tubing for the vents, it could be from there.
