Most likely not, the third eye has a groove around it for the third eye. If you place the interior piece on without the brake like molding then it would not sit right

Yes you can. Just keep in mind you will have to move the 3rd brake light somewhere else or you won't have one.

On a bit of a side note, I would recommend finding a rear deck from a 1995-1999 Cavalier/Sunfire Coupe so you can get rid of the car seat hooks as well (unless of course you plan on using them).

A rear deck from any 2000-2002 Cavalier or Sunfire Coupe that has a spoiler.

You may also be able to use a rear deck from any 2003-2005 Cavalier or Sunfire Coupe that has a spoiler, but I'm not 100% sure whether there were any changes with the rear decks from 2003-2005 since I don't have much experience with those years. For sure any 2000-2002 will have the child seat hooks though and as long as the car has/had a spoiler, there will be no 3rd brake light on the rear deck.

95-99 J's are pretty easy to find in the scrap yards around here, should be able to find exactly what you want in one of them
