So i did a search but all i could find was buy a "spal" kit..i wanna know if u can go get the parts needed out of a cavy or sunfire with power and if they will bolt up to a none power door..or if u will need the whole door
they will bolt up just fine and is not as hard as people make out to be.
pull window
drill out crank regulator rivits
remove old regulator
install new regulator with bolts or rivits
install window
wire switch-------easiest way is just to wire it to a switched 12v source
enjoy
It may be more work but should only take a few hours depending on how you tackle the wiring. And the best part is it looks stock. No tacky switches or any of hat junk.
I like my spal. switches are where I want them. The motors arent used. quick easy installation.
I went through 3 of these kits.
1. the first the screws kept loosening at the crank and the gear never worked
2. the power switches kept crapping out
3. the gear broke into 3 peices.
These were also spal kits.
