So.. this is probably a dumb question, but I tried searching and couldnt find anything. How do you remove the panel under the steering wheel?

So I'll start by saying that I only recently got the car. Havent gotten around to installing a stereo in it yet so I havent had the dash apart, but its looking like to get that panel under the wheel off, the dash bezel needs to come off first?

It is part of the dash and does not come off by itself

Remove the whole dash frame.

Thanks for clearing that up, well i guess i'll get to it when i get around to a stereo install... dont really feel like putting the effort into taking the dash apart just to install one rocker switch

Although... I really dont understand why they made the dashes the way they did, I thought it was dumb enough that the dash top has to come off to install a radio. Really miss the simplicity of my old '93.
