i have an 02 sunfire gt and the backlight on the temp gauge is really dim now.
i want to keep my millage and ive read that i can just exchange the cluster and keep them. correct? i see some clusters on ebay going for about $50, so its a fairly cheap replacement.
and second is the bcc cluster worth it? are there any dim spots with the LED upgrade?
any help is appreciated.
you can keep your odometer reading its stored in the BCM not the cluster on 00+ cars

Digital clusters are an easy swap for keeping miles. Black Cat makes great guage faces too! check into it if you have the $$

I love my BCC cluster. And yes it will display the same mileage.

check out my cavy link in the sig i hav bcc guages on my 04 and im loving them everyone who sees them always asking me about them, id go with them cuz sooner or later ur cavy guages will stop reading right and if u get the full cluster from bcc its gona dd quite a few years to the cluster life i say go for it

if you can spare the cash go for the BCC without a doubt!
I got my BCC gauges back in the prototype phase. Mine was the original prototype for 98-99 cars with autos. They still look and work great.
