I know that this is a repost. But is there a how-to some where on how to wire a trunk release button from the 2001/2002(not sure what year they started to use the button style release) and new cavaliers into a 2000 and older cavalier, I just got a trunk lid off of a 2002 lss for $80 from the junk yard but it was already off of the car so I couldnt get the button or anything from the car. The latch on it uses the button style release. I did a search on here and on google and I couldnt find any how-to's. I do have the wiring harnes that plugs into the latch but it was cut off (along with the rest of the wiring for the lights) when the trunk lid was removed from the car. There are three wires on the harness. How can I wire a trunk release button for my car? Thanks for any responses.

When I click on the link it just brings me to a log in page for another site. Before I had my original trunk lid which was set up for the cable style release, now The trunk lid I just put on my car has the button style release.
