Question is will 95-02 Sunfire seats direct bolt down in a 88 Cavalier Z24. Will or will 2nd gen seats bolt in a 3rd gen. My buddy is redoing his 88 and we got a 01 Sunfire laying around, he needs new seats. Thanks for your time.

try bolting them in yet ?
Nope....we haven't had much time too fool around with the car yet. I guess time will tell once when we try it one day soon. Just thought i'd throw up the question here before we started unbolting seats.

Our '94 Sunbird LE Sedan has '00 Sunfire GT front seats in it, so yes, they should fit. I think I may have switched the sliders for them to work better though. I can't remember for sure because it's been quite a few years ago.
Yeah I don't think there is much left to the part that bolts too the floor of the 88, the legs are rusted pretty bad. We'll try something I guess. We have the seats out of the Sunfire now so it's just a matter of ripping the old ones out of the 88 for a test fit.
