My lights went out on my ac heater fan controls do i need a new one? everything works fine except the lights let me know please. thanks

Yeah bulb is 197 I believethey have them in different colors but when I changed mine they weren't bright at all, I even did the foil behind the light trick.

whats the foil behind the light trick cuz mine are blue and they are quite dim

I actually drilled the slots out and put a 3LED bulb in each. I don't think it made that big of a difference but it can be done and mine's pretty bright.

...It's been forever but I think it's just putting foil behind the clear plastic piece for better reflection.

I got mine off eBay. Just look for #74 bulbs with 3 LED's instead of 1
