Has anyone swapped gauges from a Grand Am, S10, into a 3rd gen? I was wondering with the s10 having 2200 would it work? Are the pigtails the same?
I have seen it one time, but that person was swapping the entire dash and wiring harness (including ECU, BCM etc..) out of a Grand Am.
So - yes. It can be done. But it takes alot of work. And I can PROMISE you, the 2200 from the S10 shares nothing with the J Body other than the basic parts.
Otherwise, Alex @ Black Cat Customs can build you a cluster to your liking. Not cheap but his work is amazing from what I have seen (he is out of my price range).
Anyone with a better answer, feel free to add to mine, or correct me if I missed something.
Also - may I ask why you would want to put those clusters in? They really wouldn't fit in the dash. You would have to build a custom enclosure or replace the upper dash.

No - the pig tails are not the same.
The clusters aren't even close to the same shape. And have different wiring.
