Super Newb with questions.

I took a look at the stickys, and didn't find what I was looking for.

My 2005 Hyundai Elantra is showing it''s age slowly...the one that bothers me the most is the dullness of the interior...so I want to add a fresh new look to it

First off, where the heck would I get a new gauge cluster? And where could I purchase new LED's to replace the dimly lit ones?

Second Question...After polishing my interior down with armorall, I noticed that when it's wet, it makes it have a super-polish...glossy look to it. It goes away when it's dry. Armorall will make it a little more polished, but not super shiny gloss like it looks like when it's wet. How to I achieve this look perm?

Thank you soooo much!

You just joined today... You realize this is a site dedicated to the GM J Body platform, right? We are are General Motors Site. Not a hyundai site. You won't find any info about Hyundai's here.

But since your questions are mostly generic, Check eBay for a gauge cluster. Check local junk yards, etc. I know nothing about hyundai's, so I have no idea if you have to have it programed, or what.

LED's can be bought online at many places. Google LED's or Automotive LED's. You'll find what your looking for.

As for the dash, I don't think there is any way to make it permanently look wet. You have to re-apply the dash shine. Try switching to a better quality brand, Mother's for example, Meguire's, Ultima, etc. Get a professional brand, and you'll get better results.

My apologies! thanks for the help though.

Now is there a consensus on the 'best' brand for car interior shine?

Um, well, I personally use Meguire's. I use it because I can get it locally, easily, and while it's not cheap, it's not outrageous. And I just prefer it over mother's. Some will argue mother's is better, other will argue meguire's is better. Some people like turtle wax, I do not at all. And I hate Armor all. Ultima is a true professional brand. It's expensive though, and similar results can be had with Meguire's, however, I say similar, not the same.

Bes you can do is get a little of every brand and find which one you like the best. To be honest, I'll think you'll be happy with Meguires Interior Shine. I apply it when I was my car, and it lasts a week or longer, sometimes two weeks before it dulls out.
