I have had the car apart for so long as I start to put pieces together I am finding problems with small issues. I need to find the correct console lid for this console.

I have a few pictures of the console and one with a lid on it, if this is the correct lid can someone tell me what year it is, so I can begin looking for one? I need the lid itself and the "guts" to be able to close the lid to the console.

Any help is appreciated.

That looks like a different console top than the cavaliers get, My '95, '96 and '00 all had the same lids. Alot thinner compared to that one.

Is that a sunfire lid maybe? I think the one in the old fire sedan was about that shape.....

I'll stay tuned for answers. I have the thinner lid, however it will not fit this console.

Hopefully someone can clarify.

They may have different latching mechanisms between the '95-'99 and '00-'02 Cavaliers.. Is yours a '00+ console? My '96 does not have the change slots. I got a cup holder there.

I purchased the console from ebay and drop shipped it to a guy to put the tv in it immediately. I cannot remember what year it was from.

I have a 95 Cavalier... that will eventually have a 00+ dash and this was a 00+ console if I remember correctly. I cannot find the lid to save my life, if this is the lid the mechanisms are missing.

That's a 00-05 arm rest....and you can usually tell by the console if it has 2 cup holders... WHICH YOU DO NOT HAVE!!! HAA!!!
