As the title states i have no control on when and if they blower fan kicks on .The fan itself was making a humming noise like a belt sander under the dash before this all started , once ever so often the unit works normal outta the blue and then the next time i use it , it craps out ....... is this a case of a bad blower or the resisitor ?
Sounds like a bad blower to me, it it was the resistor, you wouldn't have anything except your top speed or two.
