Ok guys so a little while ago i had my door panels of painting on them. Upon reinstallation, the passenger went on and stay on. the driverside however will not stay on the door at the top near the b pillar. i have the correct plastic pins, so i guess it is the metal clips that go over the door edge. i dont remember exactly how these go on or where. all i know is that i only have 2 and once the door seems to fit properly, the next time i close it, it pops loose again.

I had the same problems, I only had 1 on the passenger side door, none on drivers side, so I took a trip to the local pull-a-part, took off some door panels and found most had 3, sometimes 4 metal clips, so i took a bunch off cavaliers and sunfire (8 total) came back installed them evenly on top edge of door, hung panel, done.

I haven't had my doors aprts for a while, but I am pretty sure there should be more than two clips there.
