hey i was searching before i posted this up and no luck
i just wanna move the hvac controls to the glovebox so i can put and flip-out headunit
i have a 99 cav sedan
pics would be nice or insights on how would i do this i would appreciate it

try typing in the quick search box" hvac relocate " and it will pop up..I did it on my '96 sunfire earlier this year...I did get around to cleaning it up more and it came out real good but forgot to upload the finished pics...it is a bit of a PITA to do but it does the job...If I were you, I would consider moving the HVAC panel down to the package tray instead..or maybe under the arm rest...It's up to you, either way if you need to know anything feel free to ask....

yeah man its really not all that bad... i did it in my 99 sedan as well but i did it to make room for my double din tv screen
meant to say i put mine in the glove box cause im to lazy to extend the hoses to the center console but if you got time then i would suggest putting it there lol i dont really use mine that often

can i see a pic of ur dash how did u fit a double din in there ? did u just change the dash to a 2k

if i had a camera then yeah lol mine broke but i actually kept my original dash and cut it up and fiberglassed it to fit the double din

Another awesome how-to. Seriously, why aren't all your how-to threads stickied? They are very informative and easy to follow. I think at the least there should be a stickied thread that links to all of your how-to's. I don't know how many there are but I've seen a few and they are great.
