Replacement dash pieces?
Monday, September 27, 2010 6:48 PM
So the z24 has a cracked dash. The upper part just under the windshield. and the bezel around the radio and gauges.

We decided we are keeping the car, did a search and haven't really seen what options you guys have. Any repo parts? cheap parts?

the top piece looks too much a pain to replace, and the other piece, everyone I see is trashed at the yards.

I found these... decent prices? Any word if they work well?

I live in FL... I am willing the #1 cause of issues is excessive heat and UV exposure. Everyone I have seen in a junkyard is trashed. Talking like I have been through 20 cavaliers.

The very very top part(right where the windshield meets the car) looks like it is attached to the main part of the entire dash. I am not too concerned if I fix that one as much as I am about the radio part.

So no repo part places? J-body specific junkyards? Members on here that make a point to pick these parts and sell for a decent price?

So just junkyards and ebay?
