Short-throw shifter
Sunday, September 12, 2010 5:12 PM
I'm looking for a short-throw shifter for a 2002, 2200sfi cavalier, i don't know if the engine makes a difference but you never know. I've checked ebay but i've grown to not really trust ebay parts over the years so if anyone can give me any information on where i can get a good short throw for a reasonable price it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Adam

Cosmo Racing makes one for our cars fairly cheap, but I cannot speak for the quality of the shifter.

sorry that site looks real shady, for pretty much the same price you should just go here: http://www.alamomotorsports.com/ralco/RalcoShifters_Chevrolet.html I got my shifter from there, very legit, no probs, fast shipping, includes the shift knob! lol and so far the shifter has not let me down works wonderfully.

If you're willing to wait, here's one that's being fabbed that should be good quality. Hopefully it'll be done soon since B&M quit making them

I have a Cosmo racing one that I got from A+ Performance and I haven't had any problems with it. Been in the car for 4 years.

I never got the shifter, but I had one of their intakes on my Eco for about 3 years without any real problems aside from light damage to the hood insulation. The build quality seemed pretty much top notch.
