The lil plastic trim piece that holds the shift boot down decided the wanted to break and the tabs that hold it down broke....
i know tons of you have have the problem and creative solutions....and super glue being the last option....

Yea did that, and every last J i could find that was manual had that piece broken or non existant..... is this about as famous as the dash crack?
