I found a sweet site that custom makes shift and e-brake boots to the exact size you need it. I've looked all over the place to find specs on how much shorter the b&m short throw shifter is compared to the stock shifter and all I can find is 21% shorter, well thats cool and all but inch wise its hard to figure out if you dont know how many inches the stock shifter is to begin with...any ideas how much shorter it is or how long the stock shifter is?

Doesnt matter.....just make it to stock size....or send them your stock boot and they can copy it.
I don't suppose you found redline goods did ya? They custom make shift boot heights and they do combo shift and e-brake boots package. Their products are really something. No I don't work for them or anything, just seen and used their shift boots first hand. They use a nice quality leather.
yeah thats the site...everything looks like quality made stuff. I just want to make a shift boot thats equipped for a short shifter and they seem to be the place to make it fit exactly. I just cant find any place to let me know hoe much shorter the stock shifter is compared to the short throw shifter

I've got their boots and just a warning, unless I've completely screwed something up, the fitment is not so good. The e-brake boot doesn't fit all the way around so there are gaps and the velcro doesn't fit snug around the shifter (that can probably be fixed). I have a B&M shifter btw. I ordered my shift boot 1" shorter I believe, I can get a pic tomorrow if you want me to. It's a damn shame, because they are nice boots.
