Has anybody on here installed one of these in their car?
If you are lowered you know why this would be nice
Just curious to see pics and get info if anyone has any..
Gunna guess no. Though it does seem like a good idea!

Is this in a cav?
What vehicle is it from?
EDIT: I remember your car. That's where the idea comes from, I thought the one you had only shows temp and compass tho.

it's in my 94 cavalier it's from a yukon and everything works great
Haha, I edited my post while you were posting.
You have any information or a basic how-to for doing this?
I'm pretty sure it's just going to need a power source, But I have never played with one so I have no clue.
yes it is a simple set up I even used the orignal base of my window the temp sensor uses 2 cables that goes tothe mirror one neg. and one volt wire it also comes with the wires if you have side view mirrors with the dimmer system thats my next project but got to many things started
So it just needs a power source basically?
Don't plan on doing anything with the sideviews..

mirror
I have a picture in my infor
Did you just have to wire a power source to it?
How did you hook it up
In my case I have more wie cause of the tempsensor but if you only goingto have the dimmer one it's power and ground that's all the power source will be with switch on but you can get the gentex mirrors on ebay real cheap and they come with the compass I will look for the wire diagram since I made it when I installed
Sweet, No need for compass or anything, I got GPS....Temp would be cool though..
I'll just hook up the power source to something that turns on with the car
