Ok heres the deal..... I made a post not to long ago in the photos section about finally getting my cavfire fixed up, but things have changed and I was offered a 2000 Z24 with a 5spd. All it needed was an engine so we are working on putting that in.
Anyway... everything from my current car is going to be swapped over because im not changing the look, I just wanted an updated vehicle. Now my question is.... I have a full sunfire interior swapped into my current cavalier... everything including the cluster is from a 95 sunfire. Now if i swap this interior into the 2000 cavalier, and I get a 2000+ sunfire cluster for it.... will the new cluster fit in a 95 sunfire dash frame/assembly?
You need to cut out some here and there but it will fit without being able to tell you cut the main dash.

ya like satchmoe said with some minor cutting it should be able to fit and just to remind you your going to have to rewire some things cuz in 95 the mileage is stored on the cluster as for in 2000 its digital and stored in the bcm so there is going to have to be some wiring done for the swap to the new cluster if you didnt already know, just giving the heads up.
He is using a 00+ fire cluster in the 95-99 fire dash.
